The Journey
Your life becomes meaningful when you contribute to something bigger than yourself.
Leaving things better means using your strengths, your voice, and your connections to make a positive impact — in your family, your school, your community, and the world. It does not have to be grand. Small acts of service, everyday kindness, and stewardship of the people and places around you are how lasting change happens.
The challenge: Young people are often told they are the future — but rarely given the chance to lead now. Without opportunities to contribute, they internalize the message that their voice does not matter yet.
Find one thing in your community you can improve today. Pick up trash. Help a neighbor. Send a thank-you note.
Identify a problem you care about. What is one small step you could take to address it? Start there.
Write down 3 things you are grateful for every day for a week. Notice how it changes your perspective.
Take care of something — a plant, a space, a relationship. Stewardship is how we show love for what we have been given.
