The Journey
Your story starts here. Before you can become who you are meant to be, you need to discover who you already are.
Knowing yourself means understanding your story, your strengths, your values, and the experiences that shaped you. It is not about having all the answers — it is about asking the right questions and being honest about what you find. This is the foundation of everything else in the I Am Me journey.
The challenge: Most young people are never asked who they are — only what they want to do, what grades they get, or what college they will attend. Without self-knowledge, every decision feels like a guess.
Spend 15 minutes writing the story of your life so far. What moments shaped you? What do you love? What scares you?
List 5 things you are good at. Ask three people who know you well what they think your strengths are. Compare.
What matters most to you? Family? Creativity? Justice? Kindness? Write down your top 3 values and why.
Sit quietly for 10 minutes with no phone. Notice your thoughts. What comes up when you stop being busy?
